Blood-shot eyes & headaches? You must be suffering from Google Keyword Research;

Google keyword research is more crucial than ever before, as Google adwords is now the world's #1 ad network.100 countries are part of the google content network.

With such reach, the competition grows by the minute. Google is making a killing.Around $4b in income from paid per click in 2007 alone. My guess is that more advertisers lost money than they made.

Here are the 6 main issues with PPC advertising

Discovering the exact keywords: it's really only abou the keywords. If you have different words than the people who are searching, you won't get any clicks. Or even worse you could get hits from people looking for other things other than what you offer.

It's a catch 22 situation.

You want the clicks, but you dont want every click. One click from the correct individual is worth millions of clicks from others. You really need to be careful that the keywords you use are the ones suited to searchers looking for your solutions.

It should be said, however, that the process of finding these keywords would take you hours of labor. Worser still, it might not work out at all. The main keyword research tools are quite hard to use properly. That's changed with the release of PPC Bully 2. See the next article for more information on that. We are still at the stage of crtiquing PPC. Later, we shall deal with the solutions!

Having spent all that time inresearch, now you will need to test them out. Wait! Not so fast, you are only past the first stage. Having the right keywords is one thing, having them in the right order is way harder. it's essentially the same as taking a mathmatics exam where the right answer is 745.

You could spend a lot of time but if you missed the answer by 1, you would be 100% wrong. There are no scores for getting it almost right. Its very similar in PPC. People are searching for more than specific words. They are searching for specific words in a specific order & specific combination.

You simply have to be on the ball to attract the perfect customer. Research is required in order to discover which combination works best for you.

I wont scare you off by telling you even more factors. That you need to find out what products your competition are promoting in combination with the landing pages and keywords & keyword combination that are making them a profit in order to make serious money. There is a solution to this issue.
