Leveling Guide for World of Warcraft
The way you level up in WoW depends on whose side you’re taking; whether it’s Alliance or Horde. In this guide, I will give you tips on how to take your Human character from level 1 up to level 30 in the Alliance side. Some of the tips here may also work with other races but I definitely suggest looking for race specific-tips.
How to Start
You are on level one, get ready. You will start at Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. Take a trip on the forest and familiarize yourself with the place. Slay the wolves and keep doing it until reaching level three.
Easy, right?
While at level 3, this is the perfect opportunity to equip some new armor for yourself and also to repair any damage. This will come to you easily much later. At this point, you are prepared to be on the first actual quest. It would be a great thing to choose your battle well: A Threat Within, and after which, the follow-up Kobold Camp Cleanup. After these quests, you will be now ready to tackle two more, “Eagen Peltskinner” and “Wolves across the Border.
Pick up at least 8 Though Wolf Meat items by grinding some more wolves for you to reach Level 4. You could also face the grinding of Kobold’s Vermins to reach level four. Upon reaching level 4, turn in your quests and take what is offered to you next. For a quick way to reach level five, grind the Kobold Workers in the said area.
After completing the next seven consecutive quests, you would have gone far to level seven. These are easy quests so it should not take you more than a few hours to complete them. It is highly recommended that you grind when you can to bolster your level faster.
To jump from level seven to thirty is quite a fast-paced travail. Just take all the quests offered to you and turn them in for the follow-ups. Grind to increase your score and experience points. But you’re gonna need some specific items to level up faster. To make things simpler, read this list.
Items You Absolutely Must Have
Level Six – North Shire Valley
Get the 12 Red Burlap Bandanas by killing the Defias Thug.
Find Gerrick Padfoot. Search for Gerrick Padfoot and loot his head by killing him.
Level Seven – Goldshire
Kill the Stonetusk Boars until you have 4 pieces of meat.
Find and kill Goldtooth. You must kill him and then loot the item named Bernice’s necklace.

In the “Operation Recombobulation Quest,” you would need to find a special chest in the Gnome’s workshop. Level Nine – Yeti Cave
To gather at least eight Wendigo’s Manes, you must grind the Yetis.
Return outside and look for the gnomes. Return and find the gnomes, then grind them until collecting 8 Restabilization Cogs and Eight Gyromechanic Gears.
Level Ten
Search for Frosmane and kill everything. Hold. Find the cave in the mountain above you. Find and take the basket of Shimmerweed located inside. Go inside and take the basket.
These are the must-haves in leveling up faster. Just be sure that you find them in each level. Good Luck!
