Problems with my Yaesu FT-2900 R/E?
I used the ADMS software and caple for my FT 2900 to program my radio, now when I try and transmit with it all that happens is the screen says “ERROR”, any one else had this problem or know how to fix it?
power the radio down. disconnect the power supply.
turn off the computer.
plug the ADMS cable into the serial port
plug the ADMS cable into the port on the radio
power up the computer, check to make sure that the ADMS port is active (device manager)
start the ADMS program
turn the radio on
this should help the ADMS software find the radio.
