One of the appealing features of the industrial monitor is the longer warranty as well as the ability to endure harsh conditions.
Robustness: As the name implies, industrial monitors are built tough. Intended for the most demanding of work environments, the wear and tear of normal use that would render an ordinary desk-top inoperable will not phase an industrial model. In places where a monitor is needed but not often manned, like a feedback station, having an industrial monitor just makes sense. It saves space, requires no peripherals, and can withstand above average wear and tear.
