have 92 pontiac bon ssei with batt draw. when i pull big 40 amp labeled elc under hood draw goes away. elc?
what is elc and what should i look for?
Electronic Level Control is what that stands for. It is an air shock system in the rear of the car that adjusts the level of the car when a load is put in the trunk or passengers in the back seat. It has a little on board air compressor that pumps up the rear shocks. Something in that system may be causing the level ride compressor to continue to run after the engine has been turned off.
