Why do surgeons have to insert a camera through a man’s urethra to treat a male heart attack victim?
Is there a less invasive procedure to accomplish the desired results?
This is not a procedure I have ever heard of. Firstly, the urethra does not connect to the heart. What is often done, is a camera is inserted through the femoral artery, which can then be threaded through to the inside of the heart so the surgeon can see exactly what is happening, what damage has been done, and where, and decide on the best treatment from there.
BTW, this is not an invasive procedure. It is quite benign.
