Single hole for Salt and Pepper?
To me it seems obvious, the salt which pours in the single hole and the pepper in the multi holes which shakes. However my friend disagrees and had them switched around in her recently acquired vintage bunny set. She is willing to rake all the leaves if proven wrong. Can anyone point me to something more definitive than opinions? Thanks.
I have to agree with you from a practical point.
Salt generally flows pretty easily so it uses the single hole or the shaker with the fewest holes.
Pepper flows more difficultly so pepper generally goes into the shaker with the most holes.
